The seminar on the use of media and HRact to organize actions in support of human rights was held from 27 to 29 June 2011 in Pischane of the Autonomous Republic of Crimea.

"Solidarity in action: supporting civil society in Belarus" is the project aimed at the establishment of conditions for the provision of assistance by young human rights defenders to colleagues from the neighboring country, since a large-scale campaign to intimidate civil society was launched in Belarus. The idea was implemented due to the financial assistance of the Norwegian Helsinki Committee (NHC) within the framework of the Understanding Human Rights Program, which is administered by the Ukrainian Helsinki Human Rights Union (UHHRU). The project lasted for about a month and foresaw the participation of Ukrainian human rights activists in the activity of the International Observation Mission in Minsk.
The Human Rights Center “Postup” today announced the release of the publication based on the results of the trilateral project Actions for the Protection of Children at Risk: the Experience of Poland, Germany and Ukraine. The publication contains the analysis of the observance of the rights of children at risk in Ukraine, an overview of national systems and standards for the provision of assistance to children at risk in Poland and Germany and recommendations to the Government of Ukraine as to the improvement of the existing situation.

Children from the recreational camp Yizhachky (Little Hedgehogs) under the secondary school #4 located in Antratsyt (Luhans’k region) learn and draw pictures about human rights with pleasure.
At the initiative of the graduates and with the assistance of the organizers of the Understanding Human Rights National Educational Program there have been founded the Steering Committee for the work with graduates.
